Give what you no longer need
Pick the way that fits what you have. If you are not sure, start with what we accept — it takes a minute and saves a wasted trip.
Schedule a pickup
Best for a car-load or more, or anything too heavy to carry.
About 5 bags or boxes, or a few pieces of furniture.
Find a drop-off
Best for smaller donations, or when you want it gone today.
No appointment. No forms.
Host a collection drive
Best when a group wants to give together.
We send bins, posters and a page you can share.
Become a Hot Point
Best when your place could collect for the neighborhood all year.
We handle the pickups on a schedule.
Know before you load the car
We take 10 kinds of things outright and 9 more with conditions. There are 3 we cannot take at all — not because we are fussy, but because they are unsafe, illegal to resell, or cost more to dispose of than they raise.
Donating for a business or institution?
Office clearances, surplus stock, end-of-line inventory and recurring collections work differently — usually a smaller minimum and a scheduled route.
Business and institutional donationsAbout receipts
We give you a written record of what you donated and when. We do not put a dollar value on it — the law puts that with the donor, not with us, and a number we invented would be worth nothing to you. Read the donation and receipt policy.
